Winter wedding Wonderland – Behind the scenes.

Hello Lovers blog post bride and groom

Winter Wonderland winter wedding – Behind the scenes.

Last Monday I had the pleasure of taking part in a winter wonderland winter wedding bush photo shoot at Listerfield Park. Our team for the day was myself from Hello Lovers Australia, Laura from to have and to hold photography. Fiona from Phoebe Make up and hair, flowers are from pearl and boston. Stine from Hooga design and models Isabella Sophia and Jeff  Riseley. We started the day at 6:30 with hair and make up in our front room at base camp (my in laws house). While Laura and Stine went location scouting at the park. For the make up we went with a traditional bridal make up look with a light smoky eye with a maroon lip. Once Isabella was finished we made our way to to Listerfield park.

I will let you know a little about each of the artists who took part on the day.

Laura’s motto from To have and to hold photography is “A wedding is a celebration of a love story, lets capture it!”. Laura is doing a special offer for all blog readers for the month of October and is offering an engagement shoot. An excellent way for a couple to meet her and have an hour capturing your unique story with 5 edited images to keep. For more information about Laura and this special offer click here. She is from the Geelong area in Victoria and loves to travel.

Fiona and Bianca from Phoebe Hair and make up have both worked with me on various shoots before. They are a fun combo and will have your bridal party organised and looking so, so glam in no time at all!.

Jeff is an olympian in track and field and couldn’t wait to hit the tracks after the shoot, follow his journey on instagram. Isabella has just returned from 4 years in India and is wanting to start her own jewellery brand shortly.

Winter wedding On location and freezing.

Thats the thing with living in Melbourne, its no problem finding talented people and getting things to happen. It’s when you want to do an out side photo shoot, you never know whats going to happen with the weather. The day before we were set to shoot it rained all day long, I was a little scared it was going to rain on the Monday also. It didn’t rain but was so cold. I felt terrible for Isabella who had to wear the dresses in the middle of the forest with the 12 degree’s wind. We photographed 3 new styles that will be available from Hello Lovers in the next 3 weeks they are all with our signature style with full lace and daring backs.

Did you check out my video?

Hi again, this is the second look for the day and this time, yes you can see it, a snow machine. Because we couldn’t get to the snow even though it feels like its snowing, its not. Under the jacket over there is our next Hello Lovers dress we are going to shoot. Let’s have a look at the location.

Thank you for joining me for my latest blog and I will see you all next time xox Leah.
