Boho bride style

Boho Bride at Dandenongs weddings

What is boho bride style.

Welcome to hidden treasures of ferny woods, cooler temperatures and our latest boho bride collaboration. Home to Victoria’s favourite Dandenong’s wedding venues, we were so blessed when Cherie from Lyrebird falls agreed to play host to us. With such a stylish and chic venue, it would make taking stunning photos all that much easier. Seriously I’m not used to such luxurious shooting conditions. And so easy to find picturesque locations to shoot.

Organiser of the day Dewinta from Dewinta Dandot Photography wanted a natural bohemian vibe for the shoot, with a colour pop of coloured flowers. She says “The atmosphere and greenery was the perfect fit for the vision I was trying to achieve. Moody, earthy with a bright colour. Darkness in the forest meets natural light in the chapel, a perfect location for a Dandenong’s wedding. Lucky for us Cherie said yes.”

Dewina chose the Broome wedding dress in ivory and the Eildon wedding dress. Matched with the Bendigo earrings, Bendigo Bracelet both in gold and the Infinity earrings for our second look.

Hello Lovers Australia

Talented and beautiful boho bride

The first look of the day was being worn by Melissa. A long sleeve lace wedding dress with a soft drop skirt. Melissa is also a talented fire dancer and circus artist. She treated us to a performance at the end of the day – Amazing! If you are wanting to follow her fire twirling adventures follow here.

Boho bride wedding flowers were a work of art, a combination I love the little details of the feathers at the end of the ribbon ties. Tam the Floral designer says “I wanted the flowers to stay with in the bohemian theme. So used bright colours with a mix of dark and rich autumnal tones to ensure the flowers stood out in the photos. Most of the blooms I used were seasonal and locally grown, this is important to me to support local businesses. With the flower crowns, it’s a lengthy process as they are very fiddly to make. All the flowers have to be wired and taped to ensure longevity but it definitely pays off to do it properly.” For more information on how Tam can brighten you wedding day with colourful blooms click here.

Melissa is wearing our Bendigo wedding earrings and matching bracelet.

Our second boho style of the day for the Dandenong’s wedding.

Is the Eildon wedding dress matched with a fluffy flower crown and bouquet worn by Sharan. She is also multi talented as a model, stylist, personal shopper and Make up artist. The Eildon is a V neck dress with a plunging back and all over lace floral pattern. Sharon tied the flower crown around the dress as a belt for a unique, colourful look, I loved this idea!.

Later in the day we moved in side the venue and it was the stationary’s time to shine. How gorgeous are these invites! Designed by Samone Shepherdson, a talented graphic designer specialising in wedding stationary, branding, and art. Her weapon of choice is a paintbrush or pencil mixed with beautiful typography and interesting fonts.
